There may be times when Livi does not properly power back up after a completely depleted battery or fault. Should this occur, please use these instructions for doing a hard reset. This procedure will not result in the loss of any data since it is stored in the cloud.
1. Make sure the power switch on the rear of Livi is set to the ON position as shown below, then carefully disconnect the power cable.
2. Unlock and open Livi’s top cover, open the battery compartment, and disconnect the battery from the unit. Note: the plug is in very tight so you may need to pinch the plug and wires at the same time while wiggling up and down and simultaneously pulling in order to remove it.
3. Press and hold the reset peg in for 5 seconds, then release. The reset peg is a small, black plastic peg directly to the left of the battery compartment when looking inside Livi from the rear as shown below.
4. Now re-insert the power plug at the rear of the device while the power switch is still turned on. As you do this, observe the display on the front and make sure you see “Powering Up”.
5. Plug in the battery and secure it back into the compartment.
6. Replace the top cover on your Livi and let it fully startup.
The device should now be successfully communicate with LiviWeb and ready for use.
